The app has been built out of a passion for discovering music. Finding similar tracks using commonly used audio features may suggest tracks that do not align with individual preferences. Unlike many music recommendation systems that heavily rely on users listening patterns and collaborative data, which can often lead to biases toward popular or widely known music, the approach of "FindMusic@like" prioritizes true music discovery.
"FindMusic@like" doesn't use these conventional recommendation logics. Instead, it recommends music solely based on the musical similarities between tracks, fostering the discovery of music that users are likely to enjoy. It's an excellent tool for genuine music discovery.
To get started, provide the title of your favorite track or its Spotify link. The system will suggest tracks that are musically similar to your favorite track. You can repeat this process with the same track multiple times to discover a fresh set of recommendations each time. Alternatively, you can provide your music preference details and ask for recommendations.
If you don't like the recommendations or if the number of recommendations is insufficient, you can start again with the same favorite track or elaborate on your music preferences for fresh recommendations.
