The app has been built out of a passion for discovering music. Finding similar tracks using commonly used audio features may suggest tracks that do not align with individual preferences. Unlike many music recommendation systems that heavily rely on users listening patterns and collaborative data, which can often lead to biases toward popular or widely known music, the approach of "FindMusic@like" prioritizes true music discovery.
"FindMusic@like" doesn't use these conventional recommendation logics. Instead, it recommends music solely based on the musical similarities between tracks, fostering the discovery of music that users are likely to enjoy. It's an excellent tool for genuine music discovery.
To get started, search for one of your favourite tracks that you're in the mood to listen to right now. Once you've found it, select the track and begin exploring similar ones. The system will then suggest tracks that share similar musical traits with your chosen one. You can repeat this process with the same track multiple times to uncover a fresh set of recommendations each time.
If you don't like the recommendations or if a sufficient number of recommendations are not generated, try repeating the search to get more recommendations or make a fresh start with your same favourite track again.
